I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which I use to help clients gain more control over themselves and their lives so that they can build lives that give them meaning and joy. I also have training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices, which I use in combination with principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients who are coping with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am also trained in relationship counseling, and I draw on principles of Nonviolent Communication to help partners communicate their emotions and needs to each other to deepen their connection and their ability to solve their problems in a mutually satisfying way.
